ebl Düsseldorf meets Meierbach

Since mid-September, works of art by international artists have been on display at the Düsseldorf venue. The exhibition brings together established figures in post-war art such as Georg Baselitz, A. R. Penck, Sigmar Polke and Tony Cragg with contemporary artists such as Andrea Marie Breiling, Henning Strassburger, Chris Succo, Helena Uambembe and Kresiah Mukwazhi.

The works range from expressive and abstract painting to bronze sculptures, drawings and textile works. They explore themes such as identity, social structures, history and memory, offering a multifaceted insight into diverse artistic styles, materials and perspectives.

The selection was curated by the Meierbach exhibition platform under the direction of David Achenbach.

There have already been three opportunities to view the exhibition. Further visits are possible only by personal invitation and by prior appointment.
